I recently went through a difficult hardship, and right now, my car is truly all I have. Sun Auto Service took the time to properly diagnose the issue and went above and beyond by giving me a free oil change and waiving a few miscellaneous fees. I’m incredibly grateful for their kindness and understanding. Car repairs can be extremely expensive, so I truly appreciated them taking the time to explain my financing and payment options. A special thank you to Jesse for being so patient, compassionate, and genuinely caring throughout the process. Your kindness meant more to me than you know. ❤️

If you want to get majorly ripped off and taken advantage of then take your car here, I’m a young single female so it’s hard enough to find a mechanic without getting taken advantage of. I brought in my car having some AC issues and engine light they gave me a list of a few things and told me $2700. I have a 2012 VW Jetta which in all reality my car probably isn’t even worth that much. I found Dave’s Auto on Pecos and took it there due to their reviews and I’m glad I did they told me what was ACTUALLY wrong with my car and SHOWED ME! It was literally nothing but one part that Sun Auto told me it was. So Sun auto was going to charge me almost 3k for work that wasn’t even needed. They never showed me the problem on my car or the scanner or printed me out anything it was just word of mouth. This place is a scam it makes me sad and angry they are taking such advantage of people! Don’t come here unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for work that you don’t even need. I bought the parts on rockauto and the guy at Dave’s auto is doing the labor for cheap check that place out instead if you want someone who will tell you what’s actually wrong with your car and won’t take advantage of

Definitely scammers and low quality men working that this location… Took my car in for an oil change. The previous day I went in and ask about pricing and the gentleman took me $49.99 for 5 quartz, so I made an appointment. The following day at my appointment the Sales Advisor Gage then informed me that my oil change would be 76.00. I mentioned I was told the oil change was 49.00 and he said only for 5 quartz but your car is 6.2, so it’s more. Knowing that didn’t sound right and feeling off about it, I left and reached out to the dealership I purchased the car from to speak with a maintenance team member for clarification regarding my car. The dealership let me know my car was only 4.8 quartz so I was definitely confused. Upon arriving I asked Gage if I could speak to a manager and he inquired why. Not trusting him AT ALL I just said I’ll wait to speak to the manager. After I went over everything with the manager Gage jumped in and said “Oh the reason for the price discrepancy is because I was going off your old car the Volkswagen and that car was 6.2 quartz but your price for this car will actually be $59.99” (still a whole $10 over for being within 5 quartz) I didn’t say anythi

My transmission failed shortly after I had signed up with Endurance warranty company. Sun Auto worked with them to get this service covered. Endurance refused to cover the repair. Sun staff worked very hard to get them to acknowledge their responsibility. Endurance said it was a seal in the transmission that failed and seals fail overtime. So it was a preexisting problem. The staff at SunAuto could not get them to cover this. The repair was very expensive to replace the transmission. They worked with me to get the money for the service financed. They worked with me on price. The transmission shop leader Jeff and the Service coordinator Gage have been great to work with. I am very happy with their service to this point. I am waiting for the repair to be completed. I will say be aware Endurance is not at all what I thought they would be.

Sun Auto Service was easy to access from either north or south on Stephanie. The waiting area is small with about five chairs inside and they offered a few chairs outside. They have a water station, coffee station and a tv, which wasn't on while I was there. The employee was very friendly. He took the time to describe what the mechanic found while working on my vehicle. While explaining the findings he made sure I understood what he was describing and showed pictures to prove the issue. I did appreciate the fact that all the issues they discover during the inspection were sent in an email. There doesn't seem to be published pricing, the price seem seem to be very comparable to other mechanic shops.
